R&L Overseas is responsible for the general cargo business of L Group. Sea or air transports in any direction, from north to south, from east to west or vice versa are our speciality. Optimal procedures, professional interchange management and a global network are what makes for our success in the traditional transport business. Freight purchasing volumes and expertise are bundled in our Global Purchasing Tender Center. This improves our position in detailed negotiations with selected ocean carriers and airlines. As a result, we can offer you the best prices and increase your business value.

 

Ocean freight

Our NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) services with “Windrose Line” offer LCL or FCL transports from and to worldwide origins and destinations.

 

We also provide traditional and conventional partial and full shipload cargo service, for example for individual projects or bulk hauling. Ro-Ro (roll-on roll-off) or barge hauling is part of our services portfolio as well.

 

Our certified specialists will be happy to consult you on the transport of dangerous goods under the IMO/IMDG Code.

 

Air freight

In addition to speed, air freight offers the advantages of lighter packaging, lower insurance premiums (as the danger of damage to the goods is lower) and considerable flexibility. Our experts, our competent hub based operations, extensive overland services and state-of-the-art communications can solve all your air freight issues.

 

We have block space agreements with our preferred core carriers, which ensure firm bookings and freight space on scheduled flights. Our consolidated pallets regularly take flight to destinations all over the world. In addition to our regular air freight schedules we also offer charter flights, which are becoming ever more important.

 

Of course, our specialists will be happy to consult you on the transport of dangerous goods under the IATA DGR regulations.

 

Transport insurance

We will also provide you with transport insurance. We will be happy to give you an overview over the most common insurance policies and their premiums.
