In Qatar, Rohde & Liesenfeld are among the few companies which are 100 per cent owned by the parent company. Having commenced operations in January 2002, Rohde & Liesenfeld handles about 850 purchase orders per month for the major oil & gas and petrochemical companies as well as for their international EPC/EPIC contractors.

Alliance with the French Geodis Overseas
In order to meet the increasing needs for integrated supply chain management solutions on a global basis, Rohde & Liesenfeld and the French Geodis Overseas have signed an agreement to form a global strategic alliance as of March 1st, 2002.
The raw model for this unique alliance in the forwarding industry are co-operations such as the “Star Alliance” or the “One World” Alliance, from which customers will be able to derive significant benefits and add value to their supply chain.
