Rohde & Liesenfeld reinforces project logistics-section
- New locations in Moscow and Shanghai -
The German-based logistics company Rohde & Liesenfeld enlarges its project section globally. For this purpose, Headquarters are transferred from Hamburg to Houston, USA. New CEO of R&L Projects is Tom Möller. He leads the section with immediate effect from the new headquarters in the U.S.
In addition, in August R&L Projects opened new locations in Moscow and Shanghai and established new strategic partnerships in Japan and Korea. “This realignment ensures a global representation of Rohde & Liesenfeld in the project business worldwide and on all continents. With the strategic change of location to Houston, R&L Projects anchors directly in one of the most important resource- and energy-markets. This benefits the entire organization”, says Tom Möller.
The location in Hamburg remains a central supporting leg of R&L project logistics. Mr. Peter Anetsberger has been appointed Speaker of the R&L Projects Germany Division with immediate effect.
Rohde & Liesenfeld is one of the leading companies for major logistic projects. Within this business one task among others is the dismantling of complete industrial facilities and the subsequent worldwide transportation and erection of the facility at a new location. To the core business of R&L Projects belong the mining and the energy sector, as well as the steel industry.
